What actually matters in this category
Capacity vs household size
2–3 L for 1–2 people, 4–6 L for 3–5. Oversizing wastes power and counter space.
Removable, washable parts
The single biggest predictor of whether you will actually keep using it.
Wattage and circuit load
An air fryer plus a kettle plus a microwave can trip a 16 A breaker. Stagger them.
Blade and jug material
Stainless blades, and glass versus plastic jugs trade weight against scratch resistance.
Heating system (rice cookers)
Induction (IH) heats more evenly than a conventional hotplate. Sticky rice needs its own mode.
